I like them too... :) I'm thinking about skinning my Whip Classic but haven't decide what will look best on the skinny (less than 1" wide) black limbs...

I'm about half-tempted to put some on the Viper, because I think black glass sticks out like a sore thumb... but I'd hate to do anything that might compromise the performance....
Maybe some of those high-end stickers for hunting season.. Camo tape by any other name...

That is some immaculate workmanship.
Don't like them on glass bows, sorta like covering your Ferrari with AstroTurf.
I wouldn't buy them and put them on my bow, seems like buying a trophy head for you deer.
Did native people use them? That would be cool.

I have a couple of Boone & Crockett Copperhead skins, one is 43" and the other 46". I think Yew shows off the Copperhead skin best so I'm kicking around the idea of another limbset for my Tall Tines recurve.

GF, skins have no effect on performance.
Todd: I haven't seen you shooting that Morrison recently. Must be sitting on a rack gathering dust. I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Been wanting to cover my sage limbs. We have tons of copperheads here in LA. I see those guys on a nightly basis. I even killed one the other day with the echo weed eater and did not know it till I was taking the tall stuff to the burn pile. I will be wearing snake chaps during yard work from now on. I have never tried to skin one,is there any links on the whole process? Thanks in advance guys.

I have had skins done by Bob Morrison on an ACS CX and the skins on the Takedown limbs are of equal quality. Just not sure who did them.

Sorry, don't care for them. Not too big on snakes, don't hate them, they are pretty, but if I saw one of those bows laying on the ground, I'd get jumpy and shoot it. haha.

I love them when they compliment the wood. Oly and Bowmania are perfect examples in this thread. The dark wood with the rattler and the figured wood with the Copper Head are beautiful. I have been on the look out for a couple of Copper Heads worthy of a bow.So far I have only caught hat bands.>>---> Ken

Years ago I bought a pair of rattle snake skins from 3 Rivers. Put them on a Bear Super Kodiak. Turned out realy Nice. Shot it for about a year, then sold it. The poundage was a little to much for me. The older I get,the lower in poundage I go. It is what it is.
