While on vacation last week, my wife and I stopped by "The Trading Post" in Kittery, Maine yesterday. It's like a Cabella's, or Gander Mtn. It's a fairly large store. She went to look at the clothes, candles, etc, and I went upstairs to check out their Archery/Hunting Dept. To my surprise, they had a ton, 30 + traditional bows. New and used, one piece recurves, t/d's, longbows, even a Howard Hill Badger with a double shelf. All the bows were strung, all of them hanging from the ceiling. Highest draw weight I coud see was 55#. They even had a vintage all black phenolic Wing Thunderbird, with white overlays and tips, a 47# beauty. After about 45 minutes my neck hurt from looking up at the bows so I left. Neat to see so many bows for sale in a store. I never see that anymore.

They had new Bear Montana's, a Cheyenne, etc. It looked to me to be at typical retail for those. I looked closer at the used bows, and those prices were very reasonable. You can see their new bows on line at www.thetradingpost.com. last time I was there (2010) they had 2 used bows, and a few new ones.
