I would say there is little to no chance or removing them without damaging the shaft if they are epoxied on.

I think you're "stuck" with them the way they are. Lance.

Maybe trade them. What carbons are they? Specs?

You can break the bond depending what they were glued on with. Try tapping with a hammer all the way around. I have broken the bond that way. Or try shooting them into a brick wall with a filed tip on, it may break them free. Shawn

You could put in a target point and heat it with a torch.do not heat the carbon. Grip with anarrow puller and twist the point wit pliers, or. You could pull the nocka drop in a file after that and try to tap it out. We have a slide hammer to pull them, and some glues are forever! Heat has worked on many for me. Good luck

I like Scooby's idea of shooting them into a brick wall! Please video and share the results! :)

I would second the field point and heat solution. I do it all the time.

are you talking about footings or threaded inserts? heating the field points will usually do it on the inserts, but I don't know if it damages it or not. footings? hmmm...ron

Scoring the footing then peeling it off might work but would be very tedious. And still not sure how you would get the epoxy off. I think heating the point would ruin the shaft by the time you got enough heat to soften the epoxy under the footing.

Maybe a pot of boiling water and dip the footing in it?

I would use a pencil torch to heat the foot only. Stress on only! Every couple seconds trying to pull the foot off.

Thanks for the ideas, have decided to just save these shafts and buy more. Hate to ruin a good arrow .
