Omega Longbows has launched his NEW Native longbow . It is 56 inch long and he says has no stack all the way to 31 inch draw. Starting price is only $325. I have 2 of his Imperials so guess I'm going to have to get on the list for one of these. Reasonable price for a bow and best warranty , life time warranty on all his bows. Just thought some of y'all might like to know.

I want to see a force draw on any longbow that's 56" and supposedly doesn't stack to 31". That almost defies logic. But I'll hold my opinion until a force/draw curve proves me wrong.

Anyway, I should add that I don't draw near that, so it doesn't matter. )) I love the looks of Omega bows.

I should have said the bow is really a hybrid, lots of curves to those limbs. He has pics posted on his web site and Facebook page. I draw little over 29 inch so it has my interest. Kegan , the bowyer draws 30 inch so he designed it around his long draw. He is also now offering different riser woods and different colored glass options as well as other things.

For me the problem would be the finger pinch coming from a longbow that short unless it had s severely deflected riser. I'm with George on the stack.

What does this gain you? What's it good for, that some worn out old Kodiak Magnum won't do (if more slowly)?
And isn't "what's on the market" inherently not "Trad"?

Jk, it might gain me a short bow that I actually like. I'm glad you like the Kodiak Magnum, for me it's the worst bow ever made. I draw over 29 inch and the Kodiak Magnum hits a wall at 28 or even less. Bought one one time and could not sell it fast enough. I am a Bear fan ! Have some old Bears and they shoot great. Kwikdraw , Has nothing to do with lastest and greatest . Some of us like to shoot different bows that everyone and there brother doesn't shoot. I have used bows , and new bows. This thread was not started for a bashing of old bows verses new or the Lasted and Greatest. It was to let people that may be looking for a short bow that there is another option than what has been out there forever . Shoot what you like ! And I will do the same ! Have a Blessed night !

Me, I sold my KM because it was a sloth...but many love them for whatever reasons. My Great Northern Critter Gitter blew it away. Great short bows aren't news.
Don't have a cow, man ??

Barber, I sold my Critter Gitter Special because someone else actually needed a short, foldable bow. KMs can be fun but are inherently noisy, unlike short longbows...

Wow Kodiak magnums now stack at 28 in. Huh. Mine went up pretty smoothly to 31. It did go up 4lbs from 31 to 32 tho. Guess smooth changes from one person to another. I used it for turkey a couple years. My wife used her 45 lb at her draw km with 1816s to kill moose and elk so theyre fast enough. Sorry for hijack.
