Hi, I recently finished this 62" 57#@28" Osage bow that I Sinewed with elk Sinew and covered? with Watersnake skins (my favorite as of late) the tip overlays are Kingwood and the John Strunk style handlewrap is Elk leather with kangaroo lace. The tips are 1" front of the handle unbraced. This is for a very good friend of mine in Indiana and he received it today. Thanks for looking! Bob W.

Fantastic wood combo and layup. great attention to detail. Tips are perfect, skins superb. You have mastered John Strunks handle wrap perfectly to a Tee. Be proud of that one. I know I would be.

I had an opportunity to put a few arrows through the bow this evening and was impressed. My experience with selfbows is limited. I expected a hard thump and some hand shock upon release, but neither were present, and it was a pleasure to shoot. I used a BCY 8125G 14 strand with no silencers, and it was very quiet. Bob W. is on his way toward becoming a master bowyer.

Great looking bow. I would say Bob W has mastered the art if it shoots as good as it looks, and I am betting it does.
