Yep, that is not uncommon. I have a side selection of tabs and gloves. I make a lot of tabs from scrap leather. When I am setting up a bow and arrow combination I find that switching tabs can move point of impact by a foot at 20 yards.
With some bows I just use the tab they require to shoot where I look. But if I really want to shoot a certain bow and arrow set up with a certain tab or glove, and I do with one or two pet bows, I can generally tune the bow or the arrows to go where they are supposed to. Sometimes I am master, sometimes the bow is. Longbows look masculine, but they are feminine in their hearts. - lbg

'Release factor'. The cleaner release with a tab makes the arrows shoot weak. (I'm assuming you're right handed.)
Try a lighter tip on the arrow.

Slight variation in how close your getting to your face with anchor. A tab allows the finger to touch your face a glove keeps leather between your finger and face. Different construction of gloves will do the same thing. Open tips gloves, closed tip, HH style gloves.

DanaC has the answer. To look at the same statement from the other side of the fence - tabs are so much better than gloves you get more power behind the arrow.
You're right hand correct. Oh good. Otherwise they'd be taking Dana and me to jail.

It's more to do with the relation of the back end of the arrow (anchor)and your eyeball. If you're right handed it's because you are getting the arrow closer to your face, Moving the back end left, closer to your face, moves the front end right. That's what moved the POI. Nothing else. I [refer tabs as well, but you don't get enough difference in transferred bower to equal an entire spine range or more.

I did notice when i looked down the arrow it shot straight to point of aim.....so the slickness of the tab makes it shoot weaker in spine?.....it is a black widow calf hair tab...im shooting 200gr field points....sorry for the multiple posts...Dom

The slickness of the tab allows for more power to the arrow, so yes...it will be somewhat weaker. How much weaker is anyone's guess and has other factors involved also.

Weakre arrow, plus the string goes farther around the glive than a tab so the added girating tends to move inpact right for right handed shooters. It's just a better release.

Try 175's. And keep asking questions until you find what works -and- makes sense to you. Understanding why is as important as immediate results.

If you leave the glove alone a week or so you'll start to hit well with the tab. It takes an adjustment period. tabs more accurate but I use the glove only for convenience.

Different for me as well. I have to tune for one or the other.
