Ever post a question on a new thread then forget to go and check it? # days later, "Oh ya, hey!" :^)

Haven't done that yet. What I have done is scrolling thru the archives, I find something interesting and then forget that what I'm reading is 5 or 6 yrs old. I then type a reply. Oops!

Mark your calendar and do a search on your handle weekly. Do it NOW, before you forget!

I am often amazed by how wise I used to be before I knew what I am talking about. The more I know the more I know I do not know.

I've done better than that.

I have searched a question, found a good thread with answers and realized I had STARTED it a few years ago.

A few times I've noticed a person starts a Thread with a question and gets lots of people respond with answers, then the OP totally disappears. Who knows, maybe the OP got carried away reading other interesting Threads.

Start a thread, no. What I posted earlier, like clockwork now. I don't have any tats, other than the Sharpie reminders on my left forearm. lol

There are so many things posted that one can easily loose track of those posts.I have done that at times.I suppose the smart thing is to search old posts a bit more. You quite often see the same questions raised over and over again , just worded a bit different. OSR
