We had the awesome experience of going up to Grand Rapids this weekend to visit with THE Arne Moe. For all of you that have watched Arne's videos I highly recommend contacting Arne and making the trip up there if it's at all possible. Within 4 arrows he had diagnosed different 'flaws' for each of us to work on, me much more than the kid! For me, it was the most beneficial few hours I've ever spent in my 6 years with a recurve. Thanks Arne! I'm sure we'll be back some time!

It was a great pleasure to meet and work with you and your boy!! As we discussed, videos and books are no substitute for "hands on" coaching. Thank you for the kind words and the pictures, I didn't even realize you took some of them.
Hope to see you again sometime, "down the road."

I've been screaming about how Arne can see things in just a few shots that make a Huge difference. Before I went up and did some one on one with Arne I was good, 240-250 NFAA shooter. After Arne. 275+, 286 3 times. EJ has been my main competition at the. Local 3-D shoots. AA (after Arne) he is going to be tough!. The real scary one is 7 yard Old Keogan. Already state champ twice and hold the state record. He is going to kick all ourutts before long.

That is just outstanding! Kudos to Arne and kudos to getting your son involved at such a young age. Priceless!

Most of us wish we'd gotten such instruction when we started. A very wise investment, indeed.

Arne has often been a voice of reason here and elsewhere. Because he never talks about quick and easy he often gets ignored. Yet as you demonstrate it really can be quick and easy in the right circumstances. I learned how to shoot a stick from an instructor 25 years ago. So when I got? serious 8 years ago I understood the basics.
