Chrono testing a Stalker Stickbow Coyote FTX 48 lbs. @ 28 inches. Using a 510+ grain arrow at a draw length of ~29.5". A well placed shot far outweighs the speed (fps). Aim small miss small!

Souths bows are plenty quick, you are shooting roughy 10 gpp or a tad less as you are prob. shooting around 52#s with that long draw. Shawn

Yep..I figure it was pulling at about 52#. Was really impressed with the speed at that weight and how quiet the bow was.

Nice. Those are solid numbers. That long draw really helps performance

Well BB, I'd have to say that's one swell bow your son has there!

"That long draw really helps performance..."

you got that right. I figure he will only be drawing 27-28" and I may be able to drop the arrow weight a little for him.

"Well BB, I'd have to say that's one swell bow your son has there!"

almost too nice. I don't think he knows how nice it is. ;) I do know he loves it and it is his first 'man' bow...according to him at the ripe age of 16. LOL

FXT is just the designation for Souths top of the line bows, both longbows and recurves can have the FXT following their name. Shawn

Thx Shawn. I thought it was more of a design than designation for the higher end.
