I just shot the first dozen or so arrows out of this 54" ntn sinew backed Osage. It pulls about 60# @ 25". I'm loving how it shoots so far. This is the 4th bow I've built and the first backed bow. Tell me what you think of the tiller.

I think it is bending pretty nicely. Maybe just a tiny bit flat midlimb of the top limb? compared to the lower limb) Looks pretty good though - how does it feel?

Nice if it shoots good I would call it a bow. I agree mid limb top a couple scrapes. But looks good congrats on your 4th

You did good, all the profiles look good to me from unbraced to braced to full draw. Nice work!

The tiller looks good, especially for only your 4th bow. You also did a good job on the handle and dips in design and tillering, keeping the stiff handle section as short as possible and blended into the limbs in such a way as to maximize every inch of working limb. We'll done.

Thanks guys! Mwosborn it feels good and balanced on the draw. Woodshavins I did 3 courses all at the same time. I followed pearl drums build along over at PA.

the top limb may not be stiff,,it has a bit of reflex in that part you can see on the unbraced profile,, if the taper is even and shooting good, I would consider shooting it more before you scrape anymore,, the unbraced profile is indicating its bending pretty even,, looks good to me,, if it shoots good even better,,,

Those shorties are cool! Wish I could go that short, but I draw a full 29". Working on a 58" sinew backed hickory right now. Got it floor tillered and bent the tips so far. Hoping I can tiller as nicely on my 60th bow as you did on your 4th;-)

May be my eyes, or the picture, but looks like a flat spot, bout 10" up from the bottom limb tip. It really looks good though. Great job.
