Here is a photo of the best Herters bow Ive ever had the chance to own. 62" 48lb.@28. Factory camo on the back. George Stout traded it to me. In a fit of utter stupidity i left it go. That act of carelessness has caused a few sleepless nights. I remember it layed arrow on top of arrow at a target at Buck's toolshed. The handle was beautiful. Herters Sambar Perfection.

Forgot to mention of a Sambar Perfection 70" target bow. It had the darkest rosewood riser ive ever seen.

Bought a Perfection Sambar Hunter 66" a year or so ago that looked to had been shot a few times and hung up for the intervening decades. Absolutely gorgeous bow that the day after I bought it I knew I had paid too much for it- until I got to shoot it that is.
Funny how little I see praises sung of these given how beautiful mine is and what a joy it is to shoot.
Maybe those who own and love them typically keep it quiet so there isn't a run on the market?! Hehe
