I ran across an add for an ILF longbow that has an aluminum riser with bamboo & glass limbs looks decent but not a lot of details given. I looked up the said maker of the bow & could find nothing on the internet. Bow is made in China. Thought I might ask here if anyone knows of them. Below is the link to view the bow advertised.

Hi Steve, how is the bow for vibration etc, it says double carbon limbs with bamboo cores. Is that true? Drilled and tapped for a plunger? How much adjustment on the ILF limbs? Your bow is 50#, is that the max # and what would be the min. #. How is the fit and finnish, it looks really nice on the eBay pics. Sorry for all the questions but for that price....wow. Oh ya, were you pleased with the packaging? Thanx,.......Lloyd

Hey Bear, mine isn't the carbon model, its the glass model with bamboo cores,I see now he has a carbon model ,about double what I paid.Doesn;t seam to be to much adjustement. Its drilled and tapped for a plunger and Stab. bushing Fit and finish is absolutely great Pkg. was real good and the seller is excellent to deal with .I believe 4400 transactions with 100% feedback .I paid 149.00 for mine shipping included an absolute bargain at this price. The grip is fantastic and shes really smooth.

Northstickhunter, thanks for your input. He has gone up in price about $20 for your model but still seems like a very good deal. This eBay seller seems to be the only one selling these bows over the Internet, as far as my search has gone. I would really like to get one but have not seen one at 55 lbs offered yet. I think I will contact the seller & see what more he can tell me about Bosen Bows.

I see there are now double carbon ILF longbow limbs available. $245. It is tempting. Anyone tried these yet?

I bought a pair of the Bosen 55lb carbon longbow limbs for my tradtech 2 titan 17" riser about a month ago. Honestly I can't find anything wrong with them and they seem to have good quality. I placed the self stick moleskin material on the inside portion of limb where it rests against the riser, added a pair of the recurve broadband limbsaver and have no issues with noise. I also added a piece of the same moleskin to areas from string grove to about 4"down on belly side of limb just in case of some string slap. The AMO length ends up to be 64", 8" brace height, at 27"weight is 55lbs. With a total arrow weight of 560grains, velocity is167.5 fps. with an 18 strand 450+ Flemish string. Limbs were about 250 dollars and took about 2 weeks to get them. I originally wanted the 60lbs but I think they no longer make them. Best of luck!

I have a set of the carbon , bamboo ilf limbs , good performance , running them at 8.5" brace height on 15" wood Morrison riser , for me if l get below 8 1/4 " I get a little string slap and noise , but above 8 1/4 , plenty quiet with just yarn puffs on string .

Son this bow seems to need a fairly high brace height to function optimally. That would bring it's speed down of course, but not a deal breaker for many. I was thinking of buying jus the carbon/bamboo limbs for my 13" VPA riser. I do prefer a shorter brace height since my draw is short. Still seeing these bows for sale even on the LeatherWall right now. Seller still gets good feedback.

I had one for a little while. Good shooting bow. Worth the money. The limbs that come on it are not ILF limbs, they are bolt down limbs. The riser comes with an extra set of riser bolts and pads or inserts on the riser that you change out to make it were you can shoot ILF limbs on the Bosen riser. Still a good purchase for the money.

Ya mean this one?

I thought there 17" riser and longbow limbs were well done Bit heavy for my tastes but not heavy for an ILF Well worth the money
