Always lots of chatter about the Samick Sage. Not a whole lot of chatter about other models. I have been eyeing the Deer Master, anyone shooting one, or had one? What can you tell me about them?

Its a smooth shooter. Only reason for selling mine was for a drop in weight.

I've heard good things about them and never anything really bad.
Samick has produced some pretty amazing bows in the past, especially for the price point and then the performance. The Samick Nighthawk looks fantastic as well.

Mechanically, I think you will find Samicks are all good shooters. Cosmetically, they suffer a bit in fit and finish but they are a 200 dollar bow. I think you get a little more for what you pay. The Red Stag is a nice bow too for not a ton o' money.

I have a Red Stag, shoots better than some $$$$ bows I have had.

the Deer master that I looked at had very sloppy pin fit holes, so I shied away.
