Man, there's something damn sexy about those curves.

I'm an archer, and love them all. When I entered archery in the early 60's you had to search to find any longbows. Retail wise there probably wasn't even half a dozen at the time, so consequently most of my generation cut our teeth on the recurves of the day. I never allow myself to think I'm a longbow guy or a recurve guy, I can change my mind in ten minutes, and they are all fine weapons.

I like all bows, longbows, recurves, flatbows, they each have their own unique appeal.

A bow is a bow is a bow. Life is too short to just settle with one kind of bow. Try/shoot them all and have fun and enjoy yourself.

I'm with GDS and fdp, all the way. But when it comes to a long day of hiking and shooting, I'm a longbow guy, no bow quiver.

Mr. N. I started out with a longbow and have a few in the last 20 year. Then last spring a good friend gifted me a Kodiak Hunter. It was the 1st recurve I had ever shot. I spent the summer learning to shoot again it seemed and hunted exclusively with that bow this fall. I think the jury is still out on which I like to shoot more. Guess I'll have to get another 'curve or two and continue my research.
