Look what arrived in the mail yesterday! First bow I have purchased in a looong time. I've heard so many great things on here about Mad Dog Bows, that I decided to grab a M.U.T.T. - 51# @ 28", 62" Riser and limbs are good ole American Elm. I couldn't be happier with it. This bow feels great in your hand!

Thanks, Mike!! Another satisfied customer :)

Ya know, nothing fancy, but you can still tell that the craftsmanship is superb. Really nice looking bow even without all the bells and whistles. Congratulations!

Congrats on the new bow, it's a looker! and since it's a Mad Dog I am sure it's a shooter too! I really love the lines of Mike's work.

Thanks guys. I'm happy with it. The knot in the handle is my favorite part. Since Im not really a bells and whistles guy, it was perfect. Actually, that's not entirely true.... I like bells and whistles just not with my hunting gear.

Taking it out this weekend for squirrel/stumpin. Not gonna bring it deer hunting til I get more time on it. I'm so used to pulling 45#...amazed the difference 6 more make.

I'm a fan of light wood bows. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me that is a beautiful bow. To some it might be a plain Jane bow. With no bells or whistles. But let me tell you something. If that bow fits you well. And in turn you shoot it well. Then that just might be the most beautiful bow you have ever owned. Good luck with your new bow Tom.

" I'm so used to pulling 45#...amazed the difference 6 more make."

If I weren't so happy w/my new Viper @ #50, I think I would make up some outrageous lie to make you think you're overbowed and that you should sell me that one before you hurt yourself...

I had that piece of American elm on my shelf, and it had that big knot with a crack. I'd always planned on using it for making a bow for personal use. The need came to make a prototype, for some improvements I've implemented on the 60" - 62" Prairie Predator. (they're 1 1/8' wide now) Anyhow I stabilized that knot with epoxy and pressure, turned it rock solid, and made a 62". Shot it a few times, loved it, and I'd planned on finishing it up the following week to add to my personal arsenal.

Then "ShadowFox" contacted me wondering if I had any M.U.T.T.s on hand, first I was going to tell him I didn't. Then that little angel that sits on my shoulder started getting to me. So I told him about the bow, finished it, and sent him some pics. I figured he wouldn't want it in account of the knot, but it ended up he did want it.

So anyway, that's what happened I'm glad he likes it.

Can you show a picture of the whole bow, from tip to tip so we can see the whole thing? Maybe even one of it strung up or at draw?

Thanks if you can! No problem if you can't, it just seems that alot of people may not know what a M.U.T.T looks like.
