So I just picked up a BLack Bear WARF and was wondering what others do for rests. When it comes to limbs do they gain or loose poundage on that riser? Thanks

Congrats on scoring a nice find! I've been off-on looking for a lefty Black Bear WARF for a long time to no avail. Us lefty's get discriminated against...I'm thinking of forming a "Lefties Matter" movement....LOL. Looking for ward to hearing the answers you get about limb poundage as well.

I use the NAP Centerest. As for limbs; ILF limbs marked for 25" risers will gain 4 to 6#.

I use a flat hex screw and lock it down from the other side with a set screw. The hump is made from a shock absorber bushing cut and sanded to fit. I covered both with velcro.

Can't beat the tried and proven Hoyt stick-on. The $2.98 one.Just trim the tiny end enough to not clip the fletching. Might have to shim it a little. Sack

So with Tradtechs rated on a 17" I should lose about 3 to 4 pounds. Am I correct?

You will gain about 4 pounds over on limbs marked for 25 inch risers. A Bear weatherest is perfect with carbons for CS a tad outward like it needs to be.
