I have a made for me Black Douglas with Hex 6.5 BB2 limbs. I really enjoy this bow and it is very fast. I had to increase the spine of my arrows from .500 to.400 to get good arrow flight.
I am sure you will love it. Bill

You may already know this, but "Black Douglas" is the Scottish boogeyman.

MStyles, I did not know that. Interesting. Creepy but interesting. Ha
I really like my BD. I know the OP's Reiver is a one piece and the BD is a takedown but I think the limbs are probably pretty close in design so I will add more to the thread.
This is my BD when I first took it out of the box. I had told Sid I was going to Compton and without me knowing he put a rush on my bow so I got it in time for the shoot. I did not shoot it that well at Compton though because as I found out later when I had time to tune, my old .500 spine arrows were too weak. I eventually went up to a .400 spine and it shoots great now.

Mine is a 60" Reiver one piece, 45#. Not sure what "hex" it has, but it is smooth and quick.
