The serial is pretty much meaningless, except that it means it's pre 1965. Need a photo.

cecil -

Would guess your Cub is a 1962 or 1963 for these reasons...

The Cubs made from 1952 to 1957 were 62" bows,(with the one bow factory marked exception, that I can not explain).

Cubs were advertised in early 1958 but dropped and not advertised and produced in 1959 through 1961.

Most importantly, when the Cub was re-introduced in 1962, it was made in 60" in 1962 and 1963. Then in 1964 to 1968, the Cubs were made in 64"

Although the 1969 and 1970 Cubs were also made in 60", they have a much different serial number sequence than your bow, plus these years were made with a different shelf, no leather grip, and mostly if not entirely without coins.

The serial number sequence of your Cub is characteristic of the years 1962 & 1963, however, serial numbers are often unreliable and one of several methods that I personally never use as stand alone conclusive evidence to date Bear bows.

The 1962 Cub has a grip similar to a 1959 Kodiak with a continuous line along the back of the bow. The 1963 has a grip that is set back from the line along the back of the bow. 1963 was Bear's year of their dogleg bows.
