Would this not be a good cover scent in an area with cedars? I bought a can of it from Home Depot to wipe my cedar trim in my bow room. Smells like you just cut into some cedar trees, I could smell through my whole house for a day or two. I thought about putting some on a sock and putting it around me or my ground blind if I take it?

Maybe....but it won't cover up your scent.

You might want to do a little research on the toxicity of Cedar and Cedar oil.

I bought a small glass bottle with a roll-on type top, filled with Oil of Cedar from an essential oil place online. I use it after I shave. It's oil, no alcohol, so the smell lasts. It isn't POC strong, but it's nice.

Might want to check price also

The price isn't an issue as I have already bought it. It is expensive at 18 bucks for 8oz. But the tiniest drop goes a longboard way. It's super strong.

Check out the POC Cedar oil from Rose City Archery.

It just depends on the deer that day. You cant really say what it would do until you try. They may bolt or may come in to find the source. Maybe nothing at all. I am experimenting with grape juice, apple cider, and vanilla sprayed around on the bushes. Thought the grape would draw them because of all the vineyards around here. So far, nothing either way.

That may work, but human-made scents I have found always give me trouble. I just take pine needles and crush them up and use those.

I mix cedar spruce and pine. At least you'll smell good
