Ruined my whole day :(

Traveling between jobs this morning, I passed a spot where I had a trail camera. An area where deer were crossing the road, from one side of public land to another. The doe I had on the camera was hit (still alive but dead deer flopping) and just 2 days before I would have been there. I would have rather never had a shot at her than to see her dusted on the side of the road.

Up side, the driver was taking her home to the freezer. Saw her recovered after the patrol put her down.

I eat road kill and like it , gets me through the yrs I don't take one . To bad you did not get the chance your self , but that's not the only deer in the woods .

They must be falsing it a little chase going on seeing them on the roads in my travels both NJ and Pa. lately this week. That moon got juices flowing I bet.
