Waiting on my wife to finish my knit vest for those few cold days we have in AZ. I am having slash pockets put on like on a zip up hoodie.

I hope the quality is like the original product. That was some good stuff.

I'm still wearing the Fratzke sweater that I bought in 1978. Has a hole or two, and I sewed a small binocular pouch on it, but it's still hunting after 38 years. I think I have worn it at least a few times every year since I purchased it.

I just checked this out - nice stuff. I've been looking for the "right" camo sweater and think I just found it. I've added it to my Christmas list!

The stuff is really nice except in the wind. Not a very tight weave.

Have to agree with Bowmania on this one. I still have a set somewhere that I've only worn once and that was enough,.

25-30 years ago I remember a hunter from New Jersey wearing a Winona top and bottom at the caribou camp I was working at. I was holding the plane's tail straight in the water and while waiting his turn to board the bush plane to begin his journey home he showed and explained to me what great stuff it was.
I thought that the colours blended in well on the fall tundra too.
A few years later I heard he had passed away at a relatively young age. That camo will always bring back that memory.

Used to hunt with Bob...but that's another story. Good camo for autumn oak stands.

Great news! I've got a lot of it--some in pretty bad shape.

Wore my sweater and pants tonight as a matter of fact. Superior pattern and wonderfully quiet.

I've got a couple pieces from the current company. Sweater and vest. Both wool and very good in my opinion. Not cheap but for made to order not over the top either. I'm happy with mine.

I dislike acrylic knits. If the made it out of at least 80% Merino wool I would think them worth the price.

Thanks, Jim, I just bookmarked that site for future reference. I like knit stuff because it stretches and does a good job over other layers. Have long wished I'd bought some Winona back in the day. Now I get a second chance ;-)

Bob always said: Buy a size larger.
Works great as an under layer, when it gets cold....they have lasted many years of use!
Nice big patterns.
