Today's shot will be the vertical obstruction shot. Place some items on each side of the kill zone so you have to snake your arrow in there... simulates shooting by or between some trees.
God Bless,

Made that shot from 43 yards between two fence posts only 3 inches apart. Course I can't show you so you'll just have to take my word for it. :)

Nice shooting so far today, gents. Of course now that the pics are posting it's raining like you know what outside, so no shot unless it lets up a bit. Everyone have a good day. Lance.

I had to run down to the house at lunch to let the pups out since they wouldn't go outthis morning in the torrential rain storm. While there I grabbed my bow and got today's shot in. As called from 24yds. between the uprights but low.
Thanks for the call CD

Randy, I was like you, making up for lost days...Ive shot twice in 2 weeks, and only one arrow the first time. I went out this morning with two bows as different as could be, a RH 1962 Gordon Plastics and a LH 2009 Dryad Orion. I had put a new string on the Gordon and new nocking points on both last night. From 30 yards I loosed 4 GT Trads w field tips and two XX78 aluminums with broadheads with the Dryad, switched my glove to the other hand and shot three MicroFlite #8's with the Gordon. I could fit my hands around the group. I should shoot less often, I guess. But I assumed the pics were down so I didnt take my phone, and therefore this is a BOGUS report.

The ability to post a picture may be short lived. Mine may be bigger than allowed so I'll try later from my computer.
Really nice shooting Randy! ;-)
I did a vertical obstruction from 22 yards and missed 4-5" to the right and not between my obstructions. :-(

My earlier try to post a picture was directly from an iPhone. When I do that it does not give me an option (that I am aware of) to select a smaller photo size. If I email the original picture I can select the smaller photo and that's what I posted.

Good afternoon FS, my very first shot with this new Korte recurve at 53# and Gold Tip Traditional Classics in 600 spine. The first from 14 yards ricocheted and hit the 12 ring second on the right. You did a great job on this one Richard I love it!!!! JF

Yep, busted it, arrow still good. I don't have to break handled tools (shovels, rakes, axes, splitting malls etc ), all I have to do is let one of the boys use then. That's why I have all these broken handles around.
