hey guy's i've got a kodiak hunter serial # 9t2121 just wondering what year it was made? i am hunting with it this fall as it is just a great shooting bow~ it pulls 50# at 28" very quiet and smooth shooting.

1969. I've been hunting with mine this fall too.

Great bows!!! I had one and sold it like an idiot. Loved the black tip overlays on it.

Yep a 69, have one myself and like it. There is always something special when you carry an old bear out in the woods for a hunt.

We had a 76 model bought new. Wish we had kept it.

I'm using a 77 model this year. Killed a spike opening morning with it. I like it as well as any custom I own.

I have a few K.H.'s but my favorite and the one I used most of the time is the 1969 that my dad saved from the archery shop when he closed the doors and gave it to me when I got home from south east Asia

67 1/2 was 58" and 60" from 68 on.

Great bows. I have a 68' that I don't shoot nearly enough.

I have my LH Kodiak Hunter in green and 60" with #50. I will never part with it. I took a nice 9pt Missouri buck with it and GT blem and zwickey head last year. Never a regret on keeping it or using it weekly. Those are nice bows that anyone would do great shooting. I would show a photo, but you know how that is going.

I was gifted a 67 1/2 this spring and dedicated my summer to learning to shoot a recurve. Been shooting longbows but never had a curve. Well our regular bow season has come to an end and I had an exciting season. Lots of 'almost' shot opportunities on both deer and turkeys, but it never was quite right or close enough. On my last morning hunt I had a doe with a spike in tow get me turned completely around in my stand without a chance for a shot. About 2 minutes later the big boy came along the same trail with his nose to the ground. His head came up once, long enough for be to see main beams well beyond his ears. I picked the spot where I would take my shot. As soon as he walked into my window I grunted and before his head was turned the arrow was on the way. It seemed to fly in slow motion on a perfect path until the very last second. Here's a pic I took to send to my benefactor.

Not sure what happened but that shot hooked left at the last possible moment. Drove a Woodman Elite 3/4" into sapling I couldn't hit if I tried. That shot took 15 minutes to calm down from. I do love shooting this bow. Will have it back in the woods for our late season in December. Howard

Take picture of your coin and show that.

It's a 69 you can tell from the number. They didn't make a K.H. until 1967 and in 58". In 68 they went to 60" and kept that length. We always referred to them as the big brother of the Kodiak Magnum since the design is so close. Nice bows.

Glass Color: Arctic Grey

Nock Tip Color: Black / White

The photo of the serial# and length tell everything. the first number is a 7 not a 9 so it's a 58" 1967 KH.

The photos aren't iowa cedar shooter's bow. They're gundogs bow.

My bad, I didn't catch that.

my 67 1/2 Kodiak hunter is the best shooter Of the three Or four I have> and, I think it is the 58-inch length that makes the 67 such a good shooter> >I have a 60-inch khunter that at 60 pOUnds is a pOUnd heavier and shOOts the same Or perhaps nOt quite as fast
