Really excited to have had good enough timing to score this (my first Howatt!) on the big action site.
Of course a critical element to what it actually is happens to be missing. My guess is a Ventura maybe? Anyone familiar with details on this one? Vintage, bowyer, etc.
I would be tuning it today except that I need to glue down a glass splinter that it suffered from being packed poorly - 8>\

HV = Howatt Ventura. I saw that bow and was tempted. Do you have a photo of the riser...will be easy to date it that way.

Bobby, are those decals or silk screen...the logos? If they are decals, it would be a 1966. If silkscreen I want to say 1976.

Due to the AMO being in the specs, and the riser construction it's a 1976.

Thought it was strange, the drawn bow logo still on there is a screen and where the "Ventura" would have been was definitely a stick on decal that came off, looks like it was peeled off actually.
