Frank, It's probably a 1973-77. Does it have brown glass and future wood and green tip overlay? Lance.

Totally "personal" experience here.
Don't date a bear. I tried feeding her one time and she almost bit my arm arm off.
In all seriousness though, late 72 to the closing of the Grayling factory which I thought was in 78

73-75. In 76 the Bear weatherrest become standard equipment. In late 77, the serial number started with GR instead of KR. In 78 they were making them in Gainesville. bvd

It is a Grayling bow. I'm not sure what furniture wood is. It has green glass front and back . The overlays are brown.

The green glass places it between 76 and 78. Could be one of the last Grayling production runs! Who knows?

The riser wood is known by the trade mark name of Futurewood. It was first used on the Grizzly in 73. Futurewoood had been used on top Bear models since 1970. Your bow doesn't have a Weather Rest that was standard equipment in 76. That puts it in the 73-75 years. bvd

...and the weather rest could have been removed and replaced! And so the discussion continues. Lance.
