I cant say one bad thing about Souths bows. He's one of the best for customer service. I like his grip in the Wolverine and Coyote way better then the TT. I did think the Stalker was a faster bow but I never chronograph any of them. My Stalkers definitely liked stiffer arrows this Centershot was cut deep and was a pleasure to tune. The TallTine was a super nice bow aswell seemed bomb proof just made really really well. His limbs were solid and very stable.
I don't think you can go wrong either way but I think I would go with another Wolverine if I was in the market
And just my opinion the wood options and designs that South can do are limitless. He's truly is an amazing craftsman. And he will really go the extra mile to make sure your happy with what you got.

Owned several of South's bows. Great fit and finish, customer service, excellent wood combinations and options. Sooth is as good as it gets. Shot a few Tall Tines but they didn't trip my trigger like the Stalkers. Brian's bows are nice though.

Beware buying any bow on someone else's opinion. Both have a good reputation. Barry Wensel loved the Tall Tines. Frankly, I have never shot a recurve bow that had hand shock, and that includes 1950's models. That would be my last concern with a modern recurve.

Hi,
If you don´t shoot bows from both bowyers before buying, you will never know.
Don´t give diddly squat what others say - you´re the one stuck with a bow you bought.
Might as well make it the bow that YOU find most suited for YOU.
Best advice that I can give you
shoot straight - skookum bow

A test shoot is a wise thing to do if possible.I have found a few folk who own a particular bow I contemplate buying and can generally get a few test shots in.It could save you a bit of dissapointment. OSR
