The Game Master is easily the heaviest mass weight 1-piece bow I've ever held, and also the furthest cut past center that I've ever seen.

I shot them both through a cronograph today and they both shot 500gn fir arrows at around 135fps - with the Brush Master maybe a # or 2 faster than the Game Master. Th Game is wearing a 15-strand flemish and the Brush is wearing a 14-strand endless.

Dude, are you trying to kill me?? I don't need another beautiful vintage curve on my wish list):- Lol! Really sweet bows. I picked up a '67 for a steal on eBay. Mr Root was amazing!

woodshavins - let's see a pic of your '67. I agree - I think Ernie Root was way ahead of his time.

I'll need to take one later. Bare with me.

Nice pair of Root's zonic.

Here's a September 1966 Root Gamemaster....exactly 50 years old!

70# @ 30" Must have been a custom.

Butcherblock sight window and laminations everywhere...

Wow Peter! That is a beauty! I miss spoke on my Kaibab. It was built in April of '69. Not fancy, but such a good shooting shorter bow.

Here's my old Root Gamemaster. But my friend owns it now. I owned one identical to this one but with green glass back in the late 60s.

Not Roots but Shakespeares. I love Ernie Roots designs. The first two on the left are a 66 Ocala and a 69 Kaibab. I have a 66 Kaibab to go with the Ocala but no photo right now.

Hey Phil...those are Roots. Ernie put a Shakespeare decal on them! ;)

I have a bunch of Root's built in the mid to late 60's on the same assembly line as your bows...the differences between a Root Warrior and a Shakespeare Necedah are tip overlays.

So they're on the right thread and they're beauties.

This thread inspired me to take my Kaibab out for some shooting. It's shooting my broad headed hunting arrows so well that it's gonna be first in the field with me this year. Can't seem to miss with it.

That's interesting Aaron because I have the same results with my 56" Kaibab. Of all the Shakespeares I own it's the best shooting for me. Next is a Necedah. The two Necedahs I own are by far the fastest bows of the bunch. It's noticeable to my eye.

And just an amazingly stable shortish bow. I refinished a friend's Ocala a couple years back. He had to wrestle it back from me when it was done;-)
