Hey thanks for starting this. I thought it was done earlier and could not find it. I have been hunting with my Bear Mag "B" riser and number 2, 50# limbs. GT Warrior arrow with 2 blade 175gr VAP on the business end.

3 pc td longbow from my shop. 50@28, 64 ". Gt 3555 with standard insert and a 200 gr VPA 3 blade. Right at 500 grains.

Same bow as last year for a change :)

Warfed Hoyt riser with PSE Ghost Limbs. Pulls 42#@32". Shooting full length Gold Tip Hunter 400's with 155 grain Grizzlies on a 100 grain adapter.

Bunch of nice looking set ups! Keep them comin! I too have been coveting George's Carrols for a while now!

This model will interchange with Wing Presentation II limbs, and that's what I have on that bow right now. Mine is 62" with the 16" riser and P-II limbs.

Will being using both my '57 and '58 Kodiaks, EFA quiver and 1916's.

Samick, Red Stag, 40#, Zwickey 125 gr. Wood, "Killer Bees".

Never been big on 3 piece bows George, but that is one big exception for me.

1972 56" Explorer 1 that's 62#. Kwikee Kwiver and 28" 2115's with Zwickey Eskimo heads.

String is a 10 strand skinny string with padded loops. As George Stout said "Modern low stretch strings make these old recurves sing!"

I will be hunting with my homegrown ILF rig, 42#@29". The yellow tag board under the bow had the starting pattern of the possibles bag/quiver I am making which will also be going afield this fall. I have two pieces of reinforcement to attach and the will be stitching the bag together. Will posts pics when done.

I will be hunting with a PSE Blackhawk recurve 45@28, Easton 1916 aluminum arrows tipped with a 125 grain Magnus Stinger broadhead.

No picture at the moment as my gear is in the truck already and I am waiting for my wife to get done at work so I can see her before I depart Wisconsin for the Minnesota season opener.

I hope to take a picture with it and whatever game animal it harvests.

Although I am a longbow guy, I will be using my Dad's 40+ year old Ben Pearson Cougar #45, cedar arrows, with Bear Razor heads. The bow has never killed a deer, Mom bought the bow for him, same time he bought my first bow. He only would shoot it with me in the back yard when I was a kid. I refinished it after he passed a couple years ago and I am finally going to get some blood on it for him.

Due to shoulder problems I have gone from practicing with a #25 longbow up to a #40 recurve and now am up to this Blacktail Elite at #45 . No woodies though. I will be using Full metal jackets and THunderhead 125 grain heads. Good luck everyone.

Ok guys, made some last minute changes. After a recent Root/Shakespeare thread I was inspired to give my '69 Kaibab a day in court. It and my trusty SuperD are shooting dead nuts with 225gr Eclipse broadheads.

Revival time. What'cha carrying this season. I'm going with a Bodyman longbow 51@27 with GT Pinks and Bear Greenies.

My own build, Shadehaven 62" Timberstick 68# @ 28". Beman ICS hunters, 100 grain brass inserts, 75 grain steel adapters with 135 grain Zwickey deltas. That setup is going to eat some meat this fall. Unless I can't do my part then they are going to stick good into the mountain dirt!

The bow i will be starting out with is my Bodymanbowyer longbow 53lb at 29 inch and 66 inch long. I use Easton Axis Traditional arrows with all my bows and either Magnus Stinger or G5 Montec heads. My next bow will be my Omega Imperial 50lb at 29 inch and 64 inch long. My last bow will be Hoyt Satori 62 inch and 50lb at 29inch , still waiting on this one to show up in mail. Will be using all 3 of these.

Mine is the same as always. James Parker all natural laminated R/D longbow, with bamboo back and carbonized bamboo belly. 51@28. Along with Gold Tip Traditionals, tipped with original Woodsman broadheads. My 1930's Jean Case sheath knife and my old Bear glove. I just realized that I forgot to get my quiver in the picture, but that's almost 30 years old too, lol.

And last but not least, my new hat made Dan (Box Call). This hat is very well made, looks like a million bucks, fits me to a T and is going to be part of my hunting rig until one of us falls apart. When I put it on, it already feels like an old friend.

Black Widow PCH; 56" long and 44# @28". I will be shooting a 462gr Beman Camo Hunter tipped with a 175gr Simmons Tiger Shark. I just bought this bow last year at end of hunting season so this will be my first full season to hunt with this bow.

I've had most of those quivers at one time or another Ben. I don't switch bows to often but quivers are another thing.

Rick that is not a big belly. In technical terms, that is referred to as a counter balance.

If my back lets me, got those shoots today, I will be using my new to me Thundersticklll 53@28 [ thanks 6 feathers for the best shooting bow I have ever shoot] Everything shoots well out of it, 500 gts seem to do the best. Guess I will sell my Maddog and Kanati that I thought were great. I am sorry to hear that Jim has retired,I was going to get another one as a backup they are sweet.

Gonna start out using my new 7 lakes long night longbow with cedar arrows and either Grizzlies, wensels woodsmans or Magnus 1 classics.

And if things don't go as planned I'll switch to old faithful. My Black Widow PSA and GT carbons and same broadheads as above.

Pinnacle II with long Carbon Extreme limbs pulling 50# at my 31" draw, pushing GT carbons tipped with 200gr. VPA's or Snuffers.

Same bow since 2006. The first year I had this BW I took a Caribou in AK and a nice 9 point whitetail in WI.

I've sat a lot of hours with this bow in my hand.
