I am considering getting this three piece system. Anybody have experience with it? If so, is it durable? Quiet? I'm 6'1" and weigh 242 so thinking 3XL in order to get it over heavier clothes.

If you are talking about the 'leafy suit', I'm 5'11", 300#, bought the 2xl last year and wished I had bought the xl. it is cut to go over scent lok and winter jackets. I had to put suspenders on the pants to keep them up during warm weather.

Highly recommended. Just be careful not to get the 'leaves' caught in the zipper. I've hunted with this wearing shorts and t shirt underneath and then with layers of wool late season. You can buy all of your 'hunting clothes' at Goodwill when you are have the ASAT jacket on top.

I've had deer bump into me while wearing mine. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know nothing will.

Should have mentioned I live in ND. Need plenty of room for lots of cold weather clothes. I regularly hunt in temps well below zero.

They are made for layering. Pardon the rifle, but I when I first got it I went squirrel hunting and wanted to see what it looked like in Black and White. If I had my ASAT gloves on I would have really disappeared.

I'm in Tennessee so my clothes are probably not as bulky. Here's my suit in B&W from my trail cam.

Eddie...great minds think alike in TN :)

For layering I have worn UA, Woolens, thick MilSurp Wool pants. On top, UA, Wool base, Wool Mid, a sweater and a down vest with windbreak. I had a few 0 degree windy sits. The leafy suit has some stretch to it.

It will get tangled on briar some but not nearly as bad as a Ghillie

You should also look at the Bush in a Bag ponchos. They are better for sitting still and do a great job of hiding your legs and feta. I'm more confident sitting for turkey with a poncho but you have to move a good bit of it out of the way to shoot a bow

It is fantastic stuff. It's a bit noises when you get it so wash it and throw it in the dryer with some tennis balls and it will get quieter. The only time I have been picked off is in late season when the leaves are all down, then I switch to regular ASAT clothing. you will be amazed when a deer looks right at you and you see them looking through you, truly outstanding came, only stuff I wear.

I love mine, just wear light earth tone closes under it. It is true the dear look right through you, even the sketchy Michigan whitetails. I am 5'10" 250#s of not so lean body mass, and the XL is fine.

Who sells them? MP

ASAT sells them on Amazon. They'll likely sell out of the main sizes so don't wait too long if you're interested. There's always a spike right when the season gets going.

I have the Firstlite ASAT Hat, balaclava and neck gaitor that I use with it too. Sometimes I don't like wearing the hood

Best camouflage I have ever used.

i am exactly your size. 2XL will be plenty big to wear over layers.

best camo in history. i've had deer, turkeys, squirrels, and coons literally look right through me. the squirrels and small game have actually walked OVER me.

i killed a turkey with my recurve that never knew i was there. 'nuff said.
