I am debating getting a gamemaster II but I have not had the ability to handle one in person. I really wish it had standard ILF limbs and understand that i can still convert ilf limbs but would like to know the pros and cons of the pin and bolt system used on this bow. Is it correct that I cannot adjust draw weight or tiller with this design and the bolts must just be snugged down all the way? If this is so than how is tiller adjusted with varying limbs? I really like the gamemaster design and think this lack of adjustability could be a deal breaker for me so I am interested in hearing any insights that gamemaster owners have on this.. my other option is going with a hoyt excel but I like the looks of the grip on the gamemaster better. thanks for your help,

Personally...I would suggest that you are way over thinking it. Tiller should be built in the limbs. Anything else should be able to be addressed with nock location on the string. Tiller is something that is mentioned a BUNCH, but rarely truly understood. ( no offense meant).
Harold Groves told me 30 years ago that you could back out the limb bolts on a standard takedown a half turn and never have a problem. I've never done it..but he sure built a lot of bows.
If that won't work, buy a Buffalo.

There really isn't any way to adjust tiller on the Gamemaster/Dorado risers unless you made some sort of shim to go under the limb. I've got a Dorado and have used several sets of limbs on it with no issues. The Excel, of course, is adjustable but you'll have to do a little work on it to shoot off the shelf. The Buffalo riser feels pretty similar to the Gamemaster, as far as the grip goes but you're stuck with that proprietary limb attachment.

I have 5 game masters shoot off the shelf just tighten the limb bolts down and shoot I only shoot 20 to 25 yds never had a problem even with three fingers under

Thanks for all the responses, I guess maybe I am complicating things, I have been shooting a simple longbow and guess I am just thinking it would be fun to have a bow to tinker with a little more like a das or titan..even though said tinkering may have little benefit. I just keep coming back to the gamemaster.. two blade must like his since he has 5!

They are outstanding bows in my opinion. For me it is a very easy bow to shoot.

Tiller is built into the riser on the Dorado and GameMaster risers. To my knowledge there's no tiller built into ILF limbs like there is on other custom and production take-downs.
Any ILF limbs will fit the GameMaster with a simple bushing in the ILF fitting hole. You can make them yourself with 3/8" OD and 1/4" ID copper tubing. Sometimes you may need to grind the end of the limb butts to get them to fit under the lip of the Hoyt bezel. Or... you could use standard limb bolt bezels then, it's not an issue.
