I've never had one and I don't know much but I've bean doing some research recently. If I am correct the 5 in the serial number means it is a 1965. They were made from 57-70. the 70's were started with K's in the serial number. So someone correct me if I am wrong but you have a 65 worth about $20 so I will buy it. Just joking it's is probably around $150 to 200. check ebay for 65 bear polars.

sounds like a 1965 BUT you would need to post a bunch of photos of the bow before anyone could give you an idea of what it might be worth.

I can give you an example ofthe last two I bought: A few years ago I bought a 1968, no Bear coin and I would consider this bow a 8 out of 10 and Paid $60.00 at an archery shoot for it. got it from a dealer.

Two weeks ago I bought a 1969 Bear Polar which I would consider a 9 out of 10 without the Bear coin for $100.00.

I have since replaced the Bear coins.
