The first set I made I basically just cored out and beveled a hole all the way through. They were okay, but wanted to try again. This set I believe may be a little better. Thank to Jeff for the recommendation on the right epoxy. I decided to leave them unfinished (no stain or oils) as the white nob has a great contrast with the black glass.

They look good on your Bear Hunter TD. I have a pair on my Bear Hunter TD that I bought. I made some for the quiver bracket on my 1984 Bear Kodiak Takedown. It adds character. :)

Thanks guys. I kinda like the "personalized" affect.I saw the pic of them on the quiver bracket, not something I have seen before, But I liked it.

Jeff suggested using JB Weld. I cut the limb bolt heads to have a square profile, and long oval cut out in the bottom of the antler, so that the bolt could not turn a full circle in the bottom of the antler. Once I was happy with the fit I then prepped the antler (wiped out with Denatured alcohol), and cleaned and ruffed limb bolt. I used the quick set since I did not need a lot of work time. I fund it easier to put a large amount on the head of the bolt, then set it into the antler. let it start to set-up and then finish filling the cavity. There may be better ways to do this, but it worked, the packaging on the JB Weld said 48 hours to cure. I let it set for about 4 days before using them in the bow. Only problem I had was getting the nobs grooved. I ended up using a metal scribe pen, my drimmel did not have a small enough head. Would that have been easier to mark the antler with?

Cody, nice work. Those are my initials too, and I have a slightly different version of the signature logo. It looks like a drop of water configured out of the 'C' and 'S'. My Official Artwork Logo...

Great job! Do most Bowyer's use the same limb bolts that have the same thread count and diameter? I see antler limb bolts for sale on some sites but there is no mention of what the specs are or what bow brands they will match up with?

Most limb bolts are 5/16"x18. Depending on the bow the lengths can be different.
