here is my take on a bear Grizzly. riser is Red Palm/ burgundy future wood and belly lams are black palm. 'Faux' snake skin on back Real stuff is illegal over here to use.It is 75@ @28'' and the normal 58'' AMO.Hope you like it.

thanks msturm! Actually I ground the lams for this bow couple days before I went into hospital for knee replacement. Didn't check things very well and it came in way over weight.Dumb and dumber!

So bobby I take it you built that bow? Did you build it using the single lamination like Bear did originally or did you use a back and belly lamination?

One last shot where I deviated a little, using an overlay at the tips as I don't like cutting string grooves into the glass itself.Wood is ' conkerberry' which comes for prickly small bush which rarely exceeds 4'' in diameter. Colors can be out of this world and takes a high polish.Sorry photo is a little 'washed' out.
