here is my take on a bear Grizzly. riser is Red Palm/ burgundy future wood and belly lams are black palm. 'Faux' snake skin on back Real stuff is illegal over here to use.It is 75@ @28'' and the normal 58'' AMO.Hope you like it.

That looks amazing! 75 lbs is no joke.

thanks msturm! Actually I ground the lams for this bow couple days before I went into hospital for knee replacement. Didn't check things very well and it came in way over weight.Dumb and dumber!

That's a pretty amazing looking bow. I really like the look of the wood in the belly of the limbs.

you got it Bud B. live in Australia. The palm is very hard to source here even though some of it indeed does grow here [introduced] Love to get some more too.thanks for your comments too guys.

So bobby I take it you built that bow? Did you build it using the single lamination like Bear did originally or did you use a back and belly lamination?

Great looking bow by the way.

One last shot where I deviated a little, using an overlay at the tips as I don't like cutting string grooves into the glass itself.Wood is ' conkerberry' which comes for prickly small bush which rarely exceeds 4'' in diameter. Colors can be out of this world and takes a high polish.Sorry photo is a little 'washed' out.
