I just received this bow & it is as mint as they come. It is 39#@28" & is 65" tip to tip when strung.It is a good shooter. Not sure of the woods. Any info on the bow would be much appricated.

Gourley bows used to stack pretty bad or basically have a lot of resistance near the anchor point. If yours dos not then great. They had a local following due to their price and the owner used to be well received in the Tulsa area. Most of the better shooters were shooting painted risered Black Widows by the Wilson Brothers at that time since a few of the Wilson Brothers would show up at their field archery events, especially the larger ones like the Southwest Open.

Gourley bows were more of a local thing.

Pretty cool looking bow and in fantastic shape, never even heard of them before. Woods appear to be maple and walnut?
