I got my new bow and also purchased another set of limbs. It's a b riser with #3 limbs. The question is should there be any play in the limb pockets. One set there both tight and the other set one fits snug and the other has play. Should I be worried or shim it tight or send it back to bear. I will call them for there opinion but there are so many guys that shoot them I thought I might get a quicker answer.

Nothing to be concerned about. That's why that little piece of leather is on the latch. They'll be tight when strung.

Nothing to be concerned about. When the bow is strung, the limbs wont move.

No concerns, have the same issue with newer limbs. Some fit snug, others with play. Most of the older Grayling limbs did not have any play. I was getting a little creaking noise on one set of looser limbs and just put a little graphite powder in the pocket and it has been quiet since. I have also seen pockets lined with felt to take up some of the play.

I've heard of people putting some blue painter's tape on the ends to make them snug. Painter tape comes off when you want it too and wont pull the finish off.
