Indian Archery was a mass produced beginners bow, usually made of lemon wood. If I recall correctly they sold for about 7-8 dollars in the early to mid 1950's. A lot of them were made, just about every hardware store, or sport shop sold them. Bob

I got one hanging in the shop. Got it about 1957. Came with hemp string, loop on one end, timber hitch other end. Had six wood target arrows, a tab, a target face and a Arm guard. Took me all summer of chore money, $12 total. Mine still has orginal string and about two inches of backset on the limbs. I have not strung it since 1962.

Indian Archery built and sold everything from all wood kids bows and fiberglass kids bows to top line hunting and target bows. They were very large company like Ben Pearson and sold a lot of other sporting goods besides archery like Pearson did around the world. They changed their name to Escalade Sports and now own Bear archery but that's their only archery interest.

Love those Indians. I can't quite tell which model from the pictures, but I would guess 1955 or newer from the decal. There are older decals out there. I've got about a dozen Indian Archery bows in my collection.

I had one that looked just like that. Got it around 1955. The archery set had exactly the same stuff in it that M60gunner listed. A blast from the past.:o)

I wouldn't shoot it if its delaminating.

The glass on it is just on one side and is a backing for the lemonwood. If the wood is not injured, clean it as best you can and glue and clamp the glass tightly and let it cure for a day or so. It should be okay to shoot since it's likely fairly light draw weight.
