I don't know any history of them, but it is a great shooting bow. Usually see them in the $100-$150 range. I am a Big Ben Pearson fan.

I have one that has CS 2770 written on it. The decal came off when I removed the camo paint. Got it from my brother-in-law. Think his x-wife gave it to him for Christmas in the early 70's? It also is a 45#er with a two-tone riser. I would agree with the $100- $150 depending on condition.

That bow was made under several model names...under Apex, Signal, and Pearson....and I believe Sovereign as well. Ben was a master of bow production and catered to many distributors...using the same bow with different monikers. It was also called the BPH 70.

I like Ben Pearson bows. The Predator I had (55#@28") sported a very nice finish, and looked great. But compared to the 55# Browning Wasp I had at the same time, it was not a fast shooting bow.
