A cant post pictures but it's the black widow quiver screw on type looks great and stayed in place while shooting. Adds quiteness as well.

What do you mean by "custom" quiver?

Selway is doing custom laser engraving now on the rawhide hoods, I've be giving them a call, if you're wanting something custom. Go check out their Instagram page tons of examples! And amazing looking

fdp, I was talking something different than normal. Different leather tyes, colors and different thread colors

Bow quivers IMO are unsightly and do nothing but carry the arrows that are better carried in a back , hip or side quiver. Besides I personally don't think they're "traditional" and they certainly are not "primitive."

Why is it when there's a question asked on this page people just can't answer the question insteam of taking it to another direction. The question was do you have, not do you like. This is why I don't post many questions.

Tradbo, I like the looks and feel of a good bow quiver. Sometimes I just like to grab the bow with the arrows right there ready to go. To each their own of course but they were good enough for Papa Bear, and hundreds of thousands of others as well...so I'm in. I do like all kind of quivers as well...each has a use at some point. Great Northern has a great looking quiver as well but I don't know if they will do custom work.

I think cyrille was being tongue-in-cheek about that, but who knows for sure. He likes what he likes.

I use a Kwikee quiver.

I like it best for my style of hunting.

Here's Fred Bear and Jim Henderson in 1943. Dang it looks like bow quivers being used. Must be a misprint. 8^).

Cyrille, We certainly wouldn't want anything on our bows that's not Traditional! Whatever that means?

Tradbo, Selway is doing custom dyeing and color stitch now as well.

cyrille, what's more traditional than a peice of dried out cowhide sewn together with sinew?

I have a custom Selway slide on that is awesome. I have had all of the usual top name quivers and for me the Selway is the best. The guys at Selway were great great, I actually was able to give my input on picking the actual hood I wanted and then they laser engraved a black widow spider on the outside of it. I am not able to post pics now but if you would like to private message me I can send you pictures of it to your phone or email. You also can go on there website and Facebook page and they have some excellent examples of some of the custom work they have been doing. Good luck!

OMG, fred wasn't trad? Guy bow quivers were on bows before fiberglass lams so if you got fiberglass....

Guy I used bow quivers on all my widows but I liked the black widow quiver. It helb my 32" arrows a lot quieter than others. They copied a Jennings quiver then put the mounting screws far apart like some others do now a days. This is my CJ with black widow quiver, but no arrows, lol. Already shot em. I used it for a target quiver for a short time to break in the arrow holders. One thing I do not like is the strap on or slide on quivers. On a one piece they sit on the fades and can move a little to where they effect performance. And are always on fades on TD's.

I have honestly never had one of my Selways move after I had them put on. With a little work I have always been able to slide them on past the fade out to where I noticed no difference in performance. One thing that I do like about the slide on and strap on quivers is that I feel that they are similar to a limb saver and take out some vibration and make the bow quieter. Boots and quivers seem to be a very personal thing. Most of us have tried a few and then subtle on the one they like.

I use a Thunderhorn quiver on my Black Widow PSA. It is a two piece bolt on quiver. I have ways used some type of quiver on my bows. For me it is much more convenient.

I use limb bolt quivers on my other td's with the limb bolts on the front.

I have used Selway, Eagle's Flight, Thunderhorn Boa, original Bear single attachment and Kwikee...I find anything hanging off/on me a PITA and noisy when moving through the bush and prefer a bow quiver.

I have one BW and would use a strap on quiver on it...it's not afforded any special treatment over the rest of my bows.
