If Al Harford can't do them they can't be done.

Al Harford, [email protected] 734-856-2591. The subject line of your email should have "decals"

Hi batman, No, the 5PM has two 1/4" threaded bushings on the back AND two on belly of the bow. I wonder why on the belly ???

Another question: the arrow rest ist made of a leather sheath with a plastic slide-in arrow rest and it is glued to the button so you can move the whole arrow rest in or out. Where can I buy these leather rests ??

Will the hole of the new Hoyt hunter rest fit over the button and still enable its` function? I don´t want to destroy it by taking it of, without knowing this for sure.

Hi, My first post looks like a mess because this forum does not reprint the spaces as written, instead all words are crammed to use up as little space as possible if you don´t double skip your lines.

Hoyt 5 PM

serial # :

5PM - 816

66" - AMO - 44#

that´s how I meant the writing to look, in the first place.

Sounds like a Berger button.

Here is a place for rests.

Recently I emailed Al about some Shakespeare decals, using the word "Decals" in the subject line.No response 2 weeks later.

Belly bushings are for counter balance...opposing the total frontal stabilizers used on most bows of that time. It allowed for a more stable follow-through of the shot with less forward movement of the bow. Mass weight is good and mass weight with balance is even better.

Al is an admirable guy and does excellent work. Got some decals from him a couple of months ago (including some nice Hoyt stickers) and I recall him saying he was going to be really busy with work this summer. Haven't heard back from him myself either recently so hope all is well with him. I do know someone hijacked his email so maybe he is still dealing with that too.

If you can get ahold of him and send him an even half decent picture of what you need the man can work magic producing a pro quality reproduction of it.

Hi,

I paid very little for the bow (100 €) - just by fluke because I was the first guy to call upon the ad. I guess I bought it because Viper showed pics of his collection and they do look rather nice. If I would have had the chance to shoot the bow before buying it, I would have gladly paid twice that amount. The owner even threw in a brand new bow stringer and 3 arrows with the right spine (so he thought). 400 spine carbons are too stiff in my opinion, but they fly true at 25 yards. The 630s I bought for the Tri-State are better at a longer distance. Now a question to those more experienced - how do you keep from constantly buying more bows ??

I'm looking at a fair price, because I know the guy. Don't want to steal it.

Thanks Skookum. But I do't know what 100{ means. My key board doesn't have one.

I had a bunch of decals made for the 5PM. PM me with an address and I will ship some out. I have two styles one with a white background and the one with clear background.

Hi,

Thanky you VERY much, Tom.

I will make even, since this bow is a dream to shoot. I just want it to look as good as it shoots and to tell you the truth : I prefer bows that are just oiled wood and not laquered.

I use camellia oil on all my bows after stripping the laquer. Then I do not use sandpaper but 3M Sotch-Brite in various coursenesses for the final massage till the wood becomes as smooth as a baby´s butt.

Thanks again
