Apparently the deer like our yard so much they invited the turkeys over. Several opportunities here, ranging from 5 yards to 12 yards. The closest one is a tricky shot - kneeling, between the deck rail and the oak tree. The more distant ones could be acquired while standing up. Too many choices!
It's a good thing for them we already got our BBQ meat for the 4th.

Not too nosy at all, Mark. I live in Portola Valley, on the SF Peninsula. Just uphill into the Santa Cruz mtns from Palo Alto and Stanford. U. We're at about 600 feet elevation, and pretty hilly.
My wife just called from home to say that they're back, with some more friends. Three adults and 6 juvies.
