First off, the price of $55 is for half a dz. not a dz.
The .006 straightness shafts are $105.99 per dz and come with nocks and stainless inserts that will weigh roughly 80g +- depending on what spine you get...they change with spine because the insert has to be flush with the outside of the shaft therefore the outside of the .340 will be bigger thus heavier than the 600.
The .003 straightness ..or the XT's are (I believe...check our site to be sure) $119.99. They will come with nocks, stainless inserts and the ballistic collars (collars weigh apox 13 g depending on spine of arrow). collars separate are about $25 or so.
the outside diameter is from .269 - .287 / 600 spine - 340 spine
These are the toughest freaking arrows I have ever shot period !!
**************JUST A SUGGESTION ************** Consider trying a shaft one size lighter in spine than you are currently using. Even though the static spine of these arrows are the same as they are marked, the dynamic spine will be considerably different due to their extra mass.
If you don't like the heavy insert, you can use the Easton HIT aluminum inserts instead.
I normally shoot a full length 340 spine Gold Tip woodgrain with standard insert and 300g point out of my 67lb at my 32" draw cut to center longbow.
I can bare shaft the 340 trad classic fine, but it is just a shade on the stiff side. I went to a 400 spine trad classic with Easton hit insert, ballistic collar and 300 g point ...full length shaft and the arrows fly beautifully both bare and feathered.
BY THE WAY, ALL SPINES FROM 600 TO 340 ARE 32" LONG PLUS NOCK AND INSERT. Thanks, bigjim
