A little while back I was looking at trading some trad equipment for fly fishing gear. As usual for the wonderful folks on here, I was run over with help, offers, etc. I hade different guys send me FF equipment free, some I traded for, either way, just reinforces the idea of how great you folks on this website all are. I can't tell ya how much I appreciate the help, advice, opinions, support that I have ALWAYS found with you folks. From my health, to my wife's health - surgeries, burying my beast friend Flash back in April...you name it, and I've ALWAYS found what I needed here..THANK YOU!!! I posted a pic of my first fly caught bass from last night's fishing trip to a local pond with my wonderful 18 year old daughter. She caught 14, and I caught 6...WHAT A BLAST!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

I had a fellow also ask me if I wanted to try a fly he tied, and when the package arrived, it include about two dozen hand tied flies and a case too. Generosity here is huge and fits the character of most who reside here. Very few jerks when compared to the whole cast of wonderful characters. I've given and I've received here. 8^)

Ain't it something when the bass are hitting?! It's been awhile since I caught bass on the fly rod. Its a rush. Glad to hear that this community helps others. Try to trade for a float tube. No other way to go. Trust me.??

Darn that's something I miss popper fly's and bass with long stick.
It's because of these guys I have to go to rehab they drive me to drink cool aid and eat popcorn.LOL
