I recently picked up a Holcomb that is kind of a Hybrid 59. I was very impressed with the bow and Shoe was kind enough to give me Ed's number. We had several great talks over the next week or so, he made feel like I was talking to an old friend. Well we got to talking about the 59 Kodiak next thing I knew I was the proud owner of another Holcomb. This bow is a great shooter as well as a looker, his work and attention to detail is incredible. The Birdseye maple sight window is outstanding. If your looking for a reproduction 59 or maybe a Drake reproduction you won't find a finer one.

Beautiful bow Steve. What kind of wood is the dark wood in the handle? I really like the black swirling grain to it.
