It is a great bow. It doesn't get the attention it deserves due to not having been connected with the history of Bear Archery. It was designed by Neil Byce II, who was Fred Bear's head bowyer at one time, and by his son Neil III who currently heads up the traditional line at Bear. They know something about bow design! New ones are $500 (not the RMEF model). You can go from there as to what you would be willing to shell out for it.

I shot one for a few years when I was still hunting a lot. It was my favorite at the time.

I'll be the negative nelly, had one and didnt like it at all. Think I traded it off for a vintage wing and a zebrawood grizzly. Still have that Wing.

I really enjoy the bow. Keep in mind it is a shorter AMO bow, 55 I believe. It can be a little touchy to shoot but with some practice you will find that it can easily became on of your favorite bows.

I have several top of the line bows. And like them all;but it is becoming my go to bow.fast,stable,smoothe;very easy to shoot.and the Cheyenne ,looks like a bear to me;love it stonewall bill
