Had one 5 years ago and stupidly sold it. Got a Quinn Stallion Classic 60" 46@28 on the way now! Cant wait to get it, would love to hear what setups other Quinn shooters are using, arrows, quivers, off shelf, off rest, whatever. Any info on your Quinn or Quinn setup, whether you hunt with it , pics etc. appreciated. Thanks, Craig.

I haven't had one, but a few friends have, and really like them.

Anyone use them as their go to hunting bow?

Craig. The one I had was 60" 50@28 and had the Purple Heart limbs. It just about shot any arrow you fed it but I settled on GT 35/55's with 125 up front. It is one of bows I truly wished I kept.

Like many othergreat bowyers that have passed,Mr.Quinn was a craftsman of the highest order. For years a Longhorn was my go too bow.Reliable and consistent it repaid every minute I spent with it If you match the poundage with your skills, and muscles,I;m sure any Quinn will reward you with accuracy and consistency.Every shot with a Quinn is a tribute to the man and family that designed, manufatured and sold these bows

Im back shooting mine 64" 37@28 i draw 29. Easton powerflight 500 cut to 30.5 inches. 125 grains up front, Perfect straight up. Have 47@28 limbs as well. Great bow and value bought of the wall here. Never sell it you will regret it like many others have.

My Stallion is 50# @ 28", 64" length, and has been my "go to" hunting bow for several years. It casts my 500+ grain arrows with speed and "authority" (whatever that means...). I use felt chair glides for both side plate and shelf rest - shoots Marco vanes like darts. May be the smoothest drawing/shooting bow I've owned over 50+ years of shooting...

Elbow: Get yourself a few cans of Krylon and have a ball. Customizing these things is part of the fun.

I knew you would like those Quinns, Craig! My brother-in-law really likes those 32# limbs I swapped you for. He instantly shot better with the lighter limbs.

I shot my Stallion that I had converted to ILF limbs today and WOW! I should have had this done years ago. This thing shoots. And the Quinn grip is something, isn't it?
