I was at work today and messing around our athletic training room and building. I came across a roll of athletic tape called "power flex tape". No adhesive and has a rubbery texture. Bingo. I said to self, "that would make a great riser wrap. I borrowed some pre wrap and small roll of power flex tape. I just got home and tried it out. This is what I got. Works Great!!!!

I've been using that tape for years, works very well. If you really like it spray some bed liner coating over the tape and it will last much longer. NAPA has rattle can coating in colors.

Question, will it turn your hand black in summer heat?

The same stuff for wrapping a horses legs can be much less expensive at the farmers co-op or vet supply stores. Comes in black and camo too. You can use it to camo wrap your bow and it weighs next to nothing. As a bow grip, it isn't going to last forever, but it is easily replaced and feels great in the hand. Costs about 2 bucks a roll. One roll will camo a recurve.

Rhodes is right on the money. I've used a ton of it on horses. It also comes in fluorescent colors. Way cheaper when buying it for animals an is the same stuff.

I've got 3 or 4 rolls of that stuff around here and NEVER thought of that. Good idea.
