I haven't shot this in 2 years, but took it out today. Almost too pretty to use.

The label looks like it says Ram. Looks to me like a Howatt or maybe a Hoyt.

My first thought was Smithwick or a little later made citation or mark series with overlays added at the tips. I dont think it is but it sure has a resemblance.

It does say Ram. The bow was made for me in 2012, likely the last such bow to be made.
Stan Meyer from western MN made hundreds of these bows back in the, I believe 70's, and sold them all over the country and some internationally.
They are incredibly smooth and very fast. They were finished with a high gloss finish that is just beautiful. One of those amazing but little known bowyers and archers most never heard of.

I sent Stan a dollar and asked for a brochure back around 1999 or 98? His name and address was in the back of Dan Bertalan's book of traditional bowyers. He sent me back a note and my dollar, saying he wasn't making and selling bows any more. Have seen him a few times at the Coon Rapid's Shoot flinging some arrows. Would like to find one of his bows just to have a bow from a fellow Minnesotan. Believe he was from Montevideo. That's a beauty you have there JusPassin!

Yes, I was the Police Chief in Montevideo for 10 years and Stan is a great friend.
