This is a Norseman Warlord built by Nick Lintern from Norseman Longbows Australia. The bow is 60lb at 27inch and is 66 inches in length. Nick is an absolutely top bloke and a brilliant bowyer. I just love this bow!!

If I were PC I'd chime in and call all of these bows longbows but the truth is that the majority of the "long" bows that are shown here are not longbows. They are hybrids and in some cases recurves. I love the last picture though.

Thread revival. This is my Norseman Longbows (not me, I just stole the name) Australia, Chieftan 68" #45. Brown glass bamboo core Brazilian Bloodwood riser. I love this bow, it my favourite "hit where I look" bow.

Love this thread and glad it was revived. Can't stop looking at all the bows (works of art) on here. Here's the Whippensticks my wife and I got for wedding gifts to each other. They are amazing shooters and truly beautiful for sure (much like my wife).

Gotta new one to add to the thread. Its a 66" Sentman longbow. Bubinga and Ironwood riser with zebrawood reinforcement in the middle that only shows in sight window. Also zebrawood tips. Its 58lbs@31". Straight limbs when unstrung.

And another. Oh and btw those little whoopty doos at the fades are in the extended fades for lack of a better term and don't seem to bend.

Here's my Schafer Silvertip 3 piece Longbow. It's the one for me! Just killed a cow elk on Friday with it, my first big game bow kill!

Here's a close up of the riser with sheep horn accents, bronzed antler burls (for weight) and camo limbs...

For those Schafer fans out there, I'd highly encourage you to get your hands on one of these. It's an incredible bow!
