I was wondering if any of you guys had a recipe for a limb tip protector

Cut the finger tips from old leather gloves.

I have used plasti dip, like used to coat plieer handles etc. It sticks well and can be peeled off with no damage to tips. It looks fairly nice too.

Do you want one of the old models that goes on the lower limb, and the bow string goes through?

Fingertips out of rubber dish washing gloves will work too. If you use anything that absorbs or retains water be sure to remove and dry if you get caught in a downpour.

Always make a couple small holes in the tip to allow water to escape.

Baby pacifier tips. The baby bottles have holes in them the "binkys" don't have any holes in them.

never liked them they can cause problems with moisture and abrasion when debris gets in them.

The tips on my Lynx are tiny. I use a 3/8 bolt protector. Works great and very small. Bill

One caution about limb tip protectors, depending on the material they are made of, they can cause one limb to return to battery quicker than the other, because of the increased weight on that limb tip. Bob

I sew mine on with a seam down the belly, and the last stitch around the bow string to hold it on and hold the string in the overlay. It works perfect, and is smaller and much lighter and tougher than most other tip protectors.
