I made it to Springfield,Mo. for the UBM convention for the first time and it was a blast! The highlight for me was meeting and talking with Mike Mitten and buying a book from him. I did leave with some goodies including a Tomahawk Desert Fox longbow from The Nocking Point and can't wait to get it tuned and shooting.Did any other LW'ers go?

Yes I did also. Got my good friend a new longbow for being the best buddy a friend could have. Had a great time at banquet also.

Another great festival. Wish I had gotten to talk more with you, Steve. I think you owe me a couple stories. We had a good turnout with lots of walk through and signed up quite a few new members. Good auction with lots of quality items

I was there too. Great talking with Mike. got his book and had him sign it too. Did not get my Toelke Whip sold though. Lot of good people . GREG
